| Habitat: The Striped Marsh Frog can and will take up residence in any available pond. This frog belongs in open marshlands as the name suggests but as the human population persists in draining and building on these sites then the survivors usually end up in suburban ponds. Many people love them. Many others would prefer to live without them. (Mostly neighbours but many pond owners too.) The major problem with this frog is that it never shuts up. They reproduce rapidly and ponds can be taken over with marsh frog tadpoles in a short period of time. (Maybe the other frogs dont like the noise either.) | ![]() |
