| Habitat: These frogs seem to prefer palm trees or broad leafed plants. A female Orange Eye full of eggs is a pretty large lump of a frog so the leaves need to be pretty strong. They sit on the top or underside of the leaf, in sun or shade. This frog is not all that common in the suburbs. There are a few scattered colonies on the Gold Coast, the largest being almost in the centre of Surfers Paradise. This frog seems quite "people friendly and is one of the most popular frogs in Queensland to photograph. | ![]() |
