Description: This frog is one of the smallest tree frogs in queensland. Its colour can vary from any shade of green, green and fawn to all fawn. All colours have a distinctive white stripe from under their eyes to their forearms. The belly is cream to pale yellow. Eastern Sedge frogs have the ability to change their colours to match what they are sitting on at the time, and they can change colour quite quickly. Habitat: Eastern Sedge frogs are one of the few frogs that are often visible during the day. Adults seem to pick their perfect spot in the |

For day time sleeping they like a variety of plants from ones that have shiny, spiked leaves, native ginger, macadamia trees and small gum trees. They are very alert little frogs both by day and night and seem to sleep with one eye open all the time, but once they get used to you they will tolerate you fiddling in the garden around them. | |
